Explanation[]
A player's points are accumulated over all of the USITS tournaments he or she has competed in. For a given tournament, a player receives points equalling 1 + the number of wins that player had in the tournament.
Team Worth (TW)[]
TW stands for "Team Worth." This is the value used in determining how the addition of this individual to a team for a team tournament affects that team's point cap. For every USITS tournament a player does not play (after his or her first tournament), their TW is increased by an amount equal to their points earned during the last tournament they competed in. This value is only relevant for team competitions and exists to preserve the meaning of the point cap.
